For Immediate Release:
Nike Skateboarding welcomes Eric Koston to the team!
2009 is shaping up to be the busiest summer ever for Nike SB, but simply put, any time is a good time to add Eric Koston to your team.
Eric had this to say:
"Not only am I psyched to be a part of the great group of guys that makes up the Nike SB team, but I'm equally as excited to work with them creatively. I'm sure many people know that a lot of different Nike's have been the inspiration for my shoe designs over the last 12 years, so I feel like a f%cking kid in a candy store when it comes to this partnership between Nike and I.”

Koston Going to Nike?..Nike Dunk "Big Gulp's"
Felix Arguelles recently dropped this pic on his twitter account. Since recently announcing Koston would drop from Lakai there has been speculation on to where he may be heading. From eS to Lakai all Koston sneakers are well respected amongst skaters and collectors alike, if he is with Nike a Koston SB is inevitable.

WTF......Eric Koston did what?
Three years after leaving long-time sponsor eS and joining Lakai, it looks like Eric Koston has once again changed his mind. The news officially broke today via Lakai’s website. The brand says the decision was mutual and even held a press conference to give their comrade a proper farewell. No official word has been announced regarding possible destinations but it looks like he’ll be ducking a good amount of shoes in the process. Check it out!

No..Rob Dyrdek does not own DC SHOES
THIS GUY DOES...MEET KEN BLOCK
DC Shoes is a sportswear apparel company that was started by Ken Block and Damon Way back in 1994. Ken Block had competed in a range of extreme sports from skateboarding to snowboarding and believed that sportsmen required specialist equipment in order to be able to compete at a high level. This led to the founding of Droors clothing in 1993 that would later be changed to DC in 1994. They focused on producing footwear that would give support whilst also being tough, with all of the skate shoes being tested by pro skaters.
DC is probably best known for their range of DC skate shoes. Their shoes have always combined street wear styles along with the functionality and durability needed for skateboarding. These expert design traits led to the brand becoming a subsidiary of Quiksilver soon after the company had been established. You can now find them everywhere and can buy DC skate shoes in Cheltenham, a small UK town to huge cities like New York.
Ken Block and Damon Way are still involved at DC Shoes as co-founders and Chief Brand Officers to ensure that DC skate shoes are still up to standard. Ken Block has competed in a number of sports including snowboarding and skateboarding and is currently achieving success as a rally driver and it is safe to say he has worn DC clothing to compete in most of these sports
